Fellowship Profiles

Olivia Hinerfeld

Olivia Hinerfeld, a member of the class of 2017, hails from Portland, Oregon. She is pursuing an International Politics major and a Certificate in Justice and Peace Studies in the School of Foreign Service. At Georgetown, she is involved in a number of co-curriculars, including: the Lecture Fund, the Georgetown University Student Association, Sexual Assault Peer Educators, Designing the Future(s), ESCAPE, and serving as a Resident Assistant. In Fall 2015, she will travel to Madrid, Spain to study international relations, law, and business at la Universidad de Comillas, a Jesuit university located in the heart of Madrid. Following graduation from Georgetown, Olivia plans to pursue a dual MBA-MPP and to work in either the government or non-profit sector.

Maddy Moore

Maddy Moore is a junior majoring in Culture & Politics in the School of Foreign Service. At Georgetown, Maddy is a Sexual Assault Peer Educator, Alternative Breaks leader, and Resident Assistant in a first-year hall. She hopes to work in advocacy and education after graduation. Maddy enjoys handwritten letters, radical blogs, and meaningful conversation.

Emily Stephens

Emily is a senior in the School of Foreign Service studying Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in global health, and is minoring in Chinese. She hails from Spokane, Washington, which is not near Seattle. On campus, she's been involved with H*yas for Choice and the Secular Student Alliance, among others. She is currently interning for the State Department in the office on Oceans, Environment, and Science. Eventually, she hopes to work on public health system development, possibly with a focus on access to reproductive health services. Her favorite pastimes include knitting and listening to podcasts.  

Grace Smith

Grace is a junior in the college double majoring in women's and gender studies and government. Most proudly, she acts as the chair of the LGBTQ+ Policy Team in Georgetown University Student Association (GUSA) and as a co-president of GUPride. She also serves as a trained facilitator with Georgetown's Sexual Assault Peer Educators. On the weekends, she can be found pursuing her love of lighting design with one of Georgetown's theater groups or petting every single dog that she passes. She is enormously excited and honored to be involved with WAGE. 

Gina Kim

Gina is a junior in the School of Foreign Service studying International Economics and minoring in Spanish. When she isn't studying, she can be found cooking, writing and performing poetry, or exploring the DC restaurant scene. She is passionate about sexual assault issues and gender equality.  

Annie Mason

Annie Mason is currently a junior in the College majoring in Women’s and Gender Studies and Government. She is president of Georgetown Students for DC Statehood and the director of media of H*yas for Choice. She is currently pursuing an internship with the Georgetown Public Policy Institute’s Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership. She is passionate about intersectional feminism, the liberation of the Pacific, her skincare routine as an act of self care, curly hair products and real barbecue.
