The WAGE Fellowship Experience
WAGE Fellows encounter a series of training and leadership development experiences throughout their time as a WAGE Fellow as they interact with administrators, faculty and alumnae. Meetings and workshops revolve around self-exploration, career development, health and wellness and provides access to resources that will guide them both on and off the Hilltop. Fellows also engage with the campus through programs related to gender equity issues and co-sponsoring events with campus groups and departments to help enrich the lives of women throughout our community.

After graduating in 2011, Claire went on to become the Executive Director of Women LEAD Nepal, an amazing organization she co-founded that provides young women with the personal and professional skills to pursue their vision for change. WAGE Founders & Alumnae
The idea of WAGE started when eleven women of the Class of 2008 began sharing their Georgetown experiences with one another. They discovered that Georgetown needed to create more mentoring opportunities for women with a focus in gender equity issues and leadership development. These eleven women started the WAGE fellowship to change and expand the dialogue on the Hilltop about gender equity issues, establish long lasting mentoring relationships for undergraduates and provide leadership development for future Hoya women.
